Mid-Atlantic Tea Business Association Serving the Tea Business Professional

The mission of the Mid-Atlantic Tea Business Association (MATBA) is to advance the knowledge of tea through networking and educational opportunities for the entrepreneur within the tea business.

MATBA was founded in Jaunuary, 2005 by Nancy Reppert of Sweet Remembrances, Janet Young of Over the Teacup, and Susanna Reppert of The Rosemary House. In April 2008, leadership responsibilities were transferred to Elizabeth Knight of Tea with Friends and to Janet Meyers and Erin Bradley of Tea By Two.

Our intention is to promote an increased awareness of the many tea-related businesses in our region rather than focusing on competition. Essentially, we are tea professionals helping one another grow their business.

The Association encompasses Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey, Delaware, and West Virginia. Currently, over 50 tea-related businesses are members of the association.
